why running in rain
this is just behind the house shorter run in rain
I was thinking about those reasons why I do this while running :)
I remember as I thought about runners how they are crazy and run when they don't have to :)
around 2013 my brother ran his first marathon and became quite passionate runner and I thought about him the same, how crazy he is
around this time I discovered vegan lifestyle and I wanted to persuade him to become vegan too ... so I was looking for some vegan runners to inspire him... and I have found plenty of them, one of the first were Michael Arnstein and Scott Jurek
they didn't inspire my brother to become vegan
but they inspired me to start running
I was living in North Wales that time in Snowdonia mountains, I have hiked all possible places all around, I used to hike a lot since my family always did hiking ... and then in Wales I remember how I had hard times to run 3km, I did and then walked back
I bought barefoot shoes, tracking running watch and really started to run, I did first trail halfmarathon in N.Wales and I run since then ... more than hiking
and I find it much convenient, after some practice, when I am able to run mountain marathon, in a half day I can see and explore places which I would need maybe 2 days by hiking
I don't need to carry much food
I don't need to wear much clothes, running keeps me warm
and I still can enjoy, I stop, watch, listen, take a bath in rivers, lakes
completely be with Nature
I don't train for any race, I don't need those numbers like pace and burnt calories ... (yes I keep recording my runs but mostly cuz I want to see it on a map)
and together with yoga, I guess it's good for my body and mind too, I enjoy relaxing in yoga and moving in running
and it makes me happy ...

Seekopfle 2585m, Memminger Huette
day off unusually on Friday, rain forecasted but I tought I go up and see :)
drove my bike to Bach, biked 10km into the valley till the end of road, hide the bike and did fast hike direction Memminger Hutte where it still looked ok with the weather so continued higher to closest peak where I still stayed dry but I saw it's not for long
if I remember right, than this was my highest peak so far in Lechtaler Alpen and it was really nice and worth to get wet after :)
